Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join a major Power Plant Shutdown Project in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring all shutdown activities comply with company procedures and statutory regulations
Responsibilities
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Perform regular safety inspections and audits, reporting unsafe conditions and recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain compliance with local regulations and international safety standards.
