Role Overview & Description

We are seeking experienced Rigging Supervisors for a major Oil & Gas Shutdown Project . The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all lifting and rigging operations, ensuring the safe execution of heavy lifting activities, and maintaining compliance with HSE regulations and project requirements. Candidates with extensive Oil & Gas shutdown experience and strong leadership skills are highly preferred

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities during shutdown operations. • Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements for critical lifts. • Inspect cranes, lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and rigging gear before operations. • Ensure all lifting activities comply with HSE policies, client requirements, and international lifting standards. • Coordinate with crane operators, engineers, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.

Required Skills & Expertise

Supervision of heavy lifting and rigging operations. Knowledge of cranes, lifting accessories, and rigging equipment. Preparation of lifting plans and risk assessments. Familiarity with international lifting standards and HSE regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Study Field

Diploma Bachelor's Degree (Undergraduate)
