Role Overview & Description
We are seeking experienced QA/QC Engineers for a major Oil & Gas Shutdown Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring all mechanical and piping works comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. Candidates with Oil & Gas shutdown experience and strong knowledge of QA/QC processes are highly preferred
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections throughout shutdown activities.
• Review engineering drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
• Perform inspections on mechanical, piping, welding, and equipment installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality issues and maintain project quality standards.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, NCRs, and ensure compliance with HSE and international quality standards.
Required Skills & Expertise
QA/QC inspection and quality management.
Preparation and review of ITPs, WPS, PQR, and quality documentation.
Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, and client specifications.
Welding, piping, and mechanical inspection techniques.
Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
