Job Description
A Pump Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire pump systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role includes carrying out preventive maintenance, identifying faults, replacing defective parts, and responding to breakdowns. The technician also performs routine inspections, maintains service records, and ensures all work complies with UAE fire safety standards and company procedures
Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, and maintain fire pump systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire pumps.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Conduct routine testing of diesel, electric, and jockey pumps.
• Inspect pumps, valves, controllers, and related equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and submit service reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned work.
