Job Description
The Plumber is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems and sanitary fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role ensures that plumbing works are completed efficiently, with high-quality workmanship, and within the required timeframe.
Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sanitary piping systems.
• Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults, including leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and damaged pipes.
• Install, repair, and replace sanitary fixtures such as wash basins, toilets, urinals, sinks, faucets, showers, and water heaters
• Install and repair PVC, PPR, GI, copper, and other plumbing pipe systems and fittings
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, and sealing using appropriate plumbing tools and equipment
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper operation after installation or repair
• Identify damaged plumbing components and recommend replacement when required.
