Job Description
A Contract Pipe Welder is responsible for welding, fabricating, installing, and repairing piping systems for a fixed-term project lasting 2–3 months. The role requires expertise in pipe welding techniques, the ability to read isometric drawings, and adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Pipe Welder will work efficiently to ensure project milestones are completed on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, and grinding.
• Perform welding using processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Inspect welded joints to ensure strength and quality.
