Job Description
We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimator (Electrical Background) to join a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems by analyzing project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents. Strong analytical, technical, and coordination skills are essential for successful project bidding and execution
Responsibilities
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to prepare accurate MEP cost estimates with a focus on electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed material take-offs, quantity estimates, and cost calculations for MEP works.
• Review project scope, identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and finalize estimates.
• Maintain estimation databases, support budgeting, tender submissions, and ensure all estimates meet project requirements.
