Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Current Technician to join a leading MEP and facilities management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address (PA), Intercom, SMATV, and other low current systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards
Responsibilities
• Install, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain low current (ELV) systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom, Public Address (PA), SMATV, Structured Cabling, and Intrusion Alarm systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose faults in controllers, cameras, sensors, cabling, and network devices, and carry out timely repairs.
• Read and interpret ELV drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications while coordinating with engineers and project teams.
• Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and ensure all work complies with HSE regulations, client requirements, and company procedures.
