About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.
* Track stock movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
* Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
* Identify inventory discrepancies and report them to the Warehouse Manager.
* Update inventory data in ERP or inventory management systems.
* Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
* Prepare inventory reports, stock summaries, and documentation.
* Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory items.
* Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
Requirements
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or storekeeping.
* Knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or inventory software is an advantage.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in GCC warehouse or logistics operations is an advantage.
* Familiarity with barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
Salary
OMR 220–300 per month (Based on experience)
