Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Fitter to perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems for a European Management Company on a shutdown project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have extensive Oil & Gas experience with expertise in field instruments, impulse tubing, instrument piping, and calibration support while ensuring compliance with project specifications and HSE standards
Responsibilities
• Install, dismantle, maintain, and replace field instruments, impulse tubing, instrument tubing, and fittings.
• Assist with calibration, loop checking, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, hook-up drawings, isometric drawings, and instrumentation layouts.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transmitters, gauges, control valves, and related instrumentation equipment.
• Follow HSE regulations, maintain work records, and ensure all activities comply with project quality standards.
