Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Technician to join a leading facilities maintenance project . The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm and fire protection systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, fire pumps, sprinkler networks, hydrants, hose reels, and associated equipment. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to fire safety standards, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance
Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, test, commission, maintain, and repair addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, manual call points, sounders, and notification devices.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire fighting systems, including fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, valves, and fire extinguishers.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, electronic, mechanical, wiring, and communication faults in fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, functional testing, pressure checks, and system performance verification in accordance with approved maintenance schedules.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records, maintenance checklists, and ensure all work complies with company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable fire safety regulations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire fighting systems, including fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, valves, and fire extinguishers.
