Job Description
The Electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role ensures that electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and that all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard of quality and within the required timeframe.
Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, lighting systems, and distribution boards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
• Install and replace electrical components, circuit breakers, MCCBs, MCBs, RCDs, isolators, and other electrical devices
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify damaged electrical components and recommend replacement when necessary.
• Maintain electrical tools, testing equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
