Job Description
We are seeking an CSSD Technician in Sterilization who is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining medical instruments to ensure infection control standards. The role involves operating sterilization equipment and supporting clinical teams with sterile supplies. The technician ensures compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines. Additionally, the position focuses on maintaining hygiene, accuracy, and timely availability of sterile instruments
Responsibilities
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments
• Operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment
• Maintain records of sterilization cycles and inventory
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sterile items
• Supply sterile instruments to operation theatres and departments
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
