Job Description
The Blasting Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating abrasive blasting activities for fire protection equipment, structural steel, pipelines, tanks, and related components. The role ensures that all blasting work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily blasting operations.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and materials for blasting activities.
• Ensure proper surface preparation in accordance with project specifications.
• Inspect work areas before, during, and after blasting operations.
• Monitor blasting quality and ensure required surface profile and cleanliness standards are achieved.
• Ensure blasting equipment is maintained and operated safely.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
• Prepare daily progress reports and work completion reports.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and HSE policies.
