Position: Automatic Gate Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automatic Gate Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic gate systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with gate automation, electrical wiring, and mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission automatic gate systems (sliding, swing, boom barriers, etc.).
Perform preventive maintenance and repair of gate automation systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control panel issues.
Install gate motors, sensors, access control systems, and safety devices.
Conduct site inspections and ensure proper functioning of installed systems.
Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues promptly.
Maintain service reports and installation records.
Follow company safety standards and quality procedures.
Coordinate with the technical team to complete projects within deadlines.
Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in automatic gate systems, access control, or automation equipment.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of access control systems, remote controls, and sensors.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with gate automation brands and controllers.
Knowledge of CCTV, video door phones, or access control systems is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
