Job Description
A Tile Mason is responsible for installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and other types of floor and wall tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires precision, quality workmanship, and adherence to UAE health and safety standards while ensuring timely completion of maintenance and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and replace floor and wall tiles in offices, villas, apartments, and commercial buildings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar.
• Measure, mark, and cut tiles accurately using manual and power cutting tools
• Lay ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and other specialty tiles according to project specifications.
• Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials to ensure a neat, durable finish
• Remove damaged tiles and replace them without affecting surrounding finishes
• Repair cracks, chips, loose tiles, and grout joints.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, levels, and patterns during installation
• Provide professional service while working in occupied residential and commercial premises.
