Job Description
We are seeking skilled and experienced Steel Fixers to join a leading construction project . The selected candidates will be responsible for cutting, bending, positioning, tying, and fixing reinforcement steel bars according to approved structural drawings and project specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules, steel fixing methods, and construction safety requirements. This role requires physical fitness, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to complete reinforcement work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret structural drawings, reinforcement details, and bar bending schedules to prepare and install steel reinforcement accurately.
• Measure, cut, bend, position, and fix reinforcement bars, steel mesh, stirrups, and other structural components.
• Tie reinforcement steel securely using binding wire and ensure proper spacing, alignment, cover, and placement.
• Inspect completed steel fixing work before concrete pouring and rectify any deviations from approved drawings or specifications.
• Maintain steel fixing tools and equipment, keep the work area organized, and follow all company HSE procedures.
