Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join a leading construction company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, assembling, and fixing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) for concrete structures in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications. The candidate should possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and reinforcement details.
• Cut, bend, assemble, and fix reinforcement steel bars and mesh for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Secure reinforcement using binding wire, spacers, and supports to maintain the required alignment and concrete cover.
• Inspect reinforcement work before concrete pouring to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Follow HSE regulations, maintain tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean and safe.
