Job Description
The Painter is responsible for carrying out interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and finishing works for residential, commercial, and industrial maintenance projects. The role ensures that all painting activities are completed to a high standard of quality, within the required timeframe, and in accordance with company procedures
Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling cracks or holes
• Apply primers, paints, varnishes, enamels, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform interior and exterior painting of walls, ceilings, doors, windows, metal structures, woodwork, and other building components.
• Repair damaged painted surfaces and carry out touch-up work as required
• Inspect completed work to ensure a smooth, uniform, and high-quality finish.
• Estimate material requirements and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
