Role Overview & Description
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy vehicles used in industrial or transportation operations. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise in diesel systems, and the ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently. The role involves diagnosing mechanical faults, ensuring vehicle performance, and maintaining safety and operational standards within the workshop environment.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
• Inspect diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and mechanical systems to identify faults and performance issues
• Perform repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities on diesel-powered equipment
• Diagnose engine, transmission, and fuel system problems using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain service records, repair documentation, and spare parts usage reports accurately
• Ensure workshop safety standards and proper handling of tools, machinery, and equipment
Required Skills & Expertise
Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair
Preventive maintenance and servicing knowledge
Hydraulic and fuel system understanding
Use of mechanical diagnostic equipment
